Product Description

The stainless steel low resistance backflow preventer is a DC type low resistance backflow preventer composed of a main valve, drain, detection valve, and additional facilities of a two-stage check device. Its structure ensures that the drain is effectively opened during backflow conditions, allowing the intermediate chamber to communicate with the atmosphere. In the event of sealing failure of the check valve and the entire machine seal, the leaked medium can flow to the intermediate chamber and be directly discharged outside the valve through the drain. This product has the characteristics of low noise, low flow resistance, smooth and sensitive operation, easy installation and maintenance, and long service life. It is suitable for conveying drinking water to prevent harmful and minor pollution.

The main valve of the two-stage check device for stainless steel low resistance backflow preventer is designed as an integrated structure with equal cross-sectional flow channels. The valve is equipped with an inlet check valve and an outlet check valve. The closing sealing force of the valve disc and seat of the two check valves comes from the pressure difference between the outlet section and the inlet section. After closing, under normal pressure at both ends of the inlet and outlet, it has a self sealing function and can ensure that the pressure in the middle chamber is zero. An air partition is formed between the inlet and outlet sections. The two valve discs are flexibly connected and linked by a connecting rod and an auxiliary spring. The two valve discs are reset by only one main push spring, which does not need to bear the sealing force and pressure between the valve disc and the valve seat. Differential force, which only overcomes the frictional force and self weight during the closing motion of the valve disc, can be designed to be relatively soft, So this main valve can ensure air isolation when closed, and effectively reduce head loss when opened.
