Product Description

Gear knife gate valve is a type of gate valve, which is a straight stroke shut-off valve. It is suitable for use in media containing fibers and solid particles and sewage treatment systems. It can be equipped with manual, pneumatic, and electric actuators, and is widely used in process automation systems such as paper making, mining, chemical engineering, and sewage treatment.

Gear Operated Flanged Knife Gate Valve Features

1. The valve adopts an integral design, with low fluid resistance and flexible and convenient operation.
2. The screw drive of the gear knife gate valve adopts a double plane bearing design, which reduces the transmission friction and makes the valve open easily and smoothly.
3. The sealing seat of the knife gate valve adopts a movable seal, and an O-ring pre tightening is used to provide pre tightening force to make the sealing seat close to the valve disc, greatly reducing leakage and automatically compensating for the wear and tear of the sealing pair in long-term use.
4. Fixed guide claw, no groove design, not easy to cause medium accumulation or jamming.
5. The valve seat can be selected as a metal hard seal or a soft seal according to the needs of the medium and working conditions. The gate adopts surface chrome plating or ion nitriding treatment, making the gate more wear-resistant and the sealing surface has a longer service life; Soft sealing options include PTFE valve seats, reinforced PTFE valve seats, EPDM or NBR, with good sealing performance and corrosion resistance.
6. Wide range of media adaptability: good sealing performance and economic practicality, with manual, pneumatic, and electric operation options, making the practical range very wide.
