Product Description

500X Water Pressure Relief Sustaining Valve is composed of Main Valve, Pilot Valve, Needle Valve, Ball Valve, Filter and Pressure Gauges, which act as a water controlling system. It can work under the water pressure itself without any other power, which is convenient and economic.
It can be used as a Pressure Relief Valve to ensure the supply water pressure below the setting value as well as Pressure Sustaining Valve to ensure the upper stream water pressure higher than setting value and sustain stable.

Working Principle

500X Water Pressure Relief Sustaining Valve Working Principle:

1. Being Used as a Pressure Relief Valve

  When the pilot valve is on the status of relieving valve, water flows out through needle valve, main valve controlling chamber, ball valve A, pilot valve and Ball Valve B. Then the main valve is open. When the inlet pressure exceeds the pilot valve setting pressure, pilot relief valve will open automatically, some water will flow out through Ball Valve C to relief pressure. When the pressure reduced to safety setting value, pilot relief valve will close automatically.  Ball valve is open when the main valve is used as Relief Valve.

1. Being Used as a Pressure Sustaining Valve.

  When the Pilot valve is on the pressure sustaining status, only when the main valve inlet water pressure lower than the pilot valve setting value, the pilot valve will close, then the main valve chamber pressure rises, main valve will close. When the main valve upper stream pressure exceeds the pilot valve setting value, pilot valve will open, and the water in the main valve chamber will flow out through ball valves and main valve start to supply water. Ball valve C is Closed or replaced with a screwed plug when the main valve used as sustaining valve.
