The valve stem is a bottom-mounted design, and the shoulder is equipped with a thrust bearing to reduce the operating torque.

Fireproof function: Once the soft seal is burned, the ball will be pushed to the steel seat due to medium pressure, which can play a fireproof function.

API Standard Trunnion Mounted high pressure ball valve installation
1. All kinds of manual valves installed with forged steel high-pressure ball valves on thermal insulation pipes must not handle downwards.

2. The installation position, height, and direction of import and export must meet the design requirements, and the connection should be firm and tight.

3. Forged steel high-pressure ball valves must be visually inspected before installation. For valves with a working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and a blocking function on the main pipe, the strength and rigorous function test should be carried out before installation, and the valve can be used only after it is qualified. During the strength test, the test pressure is 1.5 times the nominal pressure and the duration is not less than 5min. The valve housing and packing should be qualified without leakage. During the tightness test, the test pressure is 1.1 times the nominal pressure; the test pressure should meet the API598 standard requirements during the test duration, and no leakage on the valve flap sealing surface is qualified.

4. Install a gasket between the valve flange and the pipeline flange according to the pipeline design requirements.
