This type of steam separator use the sharp change of steam flow to separate the droplets from the steam,it is mainly used for supplying dry steam to steam facilities and protecting facilities from water hammer,besides of steam,the medium can also be compressed air and other gas,usually,it should be installed in horizontal direction,and a steam trap will be installed on the bottom of it to discharge condensate timely.
